Description

Steven Kruse is a valued Broker Associate with Kentwood Real Estate . He knows residential communities from Golden to Reunion like the back of his hand but he has worked in most communities in the northern section of the Denver metro area and suburbs. Steven has been entrenched in real estate all of his life. Growing up as the son of a custom home builder, he witnessed in his father hard-work exemplified. Due to that background, Steven truly understands the evolution of a home, all the way from acquiring the land to the passing of the home to its new owners. He has used those skills to help new home buyers evaluate and purchase brand new homes from builders. Steven has been a LEED A.P. since 2009 and has a deep understanding of "green" building. He has generated over $100 million in sales revenue and received multiple awards for both customer satisfaction and referral lead generation. Steven met his beautiful wife in 2003, and they were married in 2005. Today, they enjoy living in Arapahoe County with their two boys, born in 2008 and 2011. Steven and his wife are active members of the Cherry Creek School District and supporters of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver.

Jim began his sales career at the age of 17, selling vacuum cleaners door to door. He paid 100% of his way through seven years of college by selling cookware, china, flatware and cutlery for The Vita Craft Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri. Starting as a salesman, Jim ended up as District Manager for Vita Craft. After receiving his MBA, Jim joined the General Electric Company in Corporate Planning and Market Research as a consultant, working with the company in Syracuse, New York; Philadelphia; Milwaukee; Chicago and Washington, D. C. He then joined G. E.'s educational affiliate, the General Learning Corporation, where he functioned as a Corporate Planner and a Regional Marketing Director in charge of selling educational programs to such firms as IBM.

Jim joined Van Schaack and Company, a local Denver residential real estate company, as a real estate salesman in December, 1970. He made the President's Club each succeeding year, and in five of his last seven years with that firm was its top residential salesman out of approximately 350 sales associates.

In his 50+year residential sales career he has participated in over 2800 closings with a closed sales volume in excess of $1.3 Billion. His real estate designations include GRI, CRS, SRES, CIPS, and CDPE. He has received several real estate awards from the Denver Sales and Marketing Executives Club, as well as in-person awards from sales motivational icons the late Og Mandino and Earl Nightingale. He has been listed in Who’s Who in America.

He has written a book that will be published shortly entitled Significance: A Lifetime of Learning, Earning and Love. Jim resides in Greenwood Village, Colorado with his wife, Mary Jean.
